Lucas Jay Kubrick is a driver for EDEN Express. He was hired by Rick Eden to kill Griffin Briggs via switching out his tape measure with a faulty one so Griffin would die from the fall due to the bungie cord being 6 feet longer. He gave himself away when he told Molly exactly how Griffin died that day. Knowing that Monk was onto Eden and Kubrick, Rick then saw Lucas as a liability and staged a false terror threat on an animal shelter by having Kubrick deliver a package to that said shelter containing a bomb, then set off the bomb, making it look like a premature bombing, killing him. Monk discovered Rick's ploy but failed to save Lucas on time.
