Joseph "Joe" Cochran is a firefighter for the San Francisco Fire Department. He is a love interest to Natalie Teeger, who doesn't want to be in a relationship with him due to her fearing he might suddenly die like Mitch did. His dog Sparky was killed by Lucas Breen, who was attacked by Sparky while stealing a fireman's coat from the firehouse.
