Jimmy "Chicklet" Botsdale is a minor character in Monk, the murder victim of "Mr. Monk and the Captain's Marriage".
History[]
Chicklet was a drug dealer operating under gangster Michael Karpov. At some point, the authorities caught up to him and got him to agree to testify against Karpov. Somehow, his boss got wind of this and sent Ryan Sharkey Jr., a police sergeant on his payroll who had recently transferred to the SFPD, to deal with him. Sharkey got Chicklet to meet him in a junkyard to find out what he knew before killing him. Though Botsdale put up a good fight, managing to knock out one of Sharkey's teeth, he ultimately lost as he was beaten to death with the barrel of Sharkey's gun (which was his service weapon, meaning he could not simply shoot Jimmy dead). The fight was witnessed by homeless man Gerald Vengal, who was called in to identify Jimmy's killer after Sharkey tried to kill him by throwing him out of a window.
