Jake Phillips (also known as Honest Jake) is a character from Mr. Monk Buys a House. He is a handyman who offers to help fix Adrian Monk's newly bought house. However, Phillips has ulterior motives, namely finding a 4 millions dollar heist money hidden somewhere in the house. When Monk starts to catch on that Cassie Drake, Phillips's girlfriend, purposely killed Joseph Moody, he kills her so that not only can't she expose him, but for making it much more difficult to find the money. Phillips eventually finds the money in the walls, and he also kills his friend Ramone so he can have the money to himself. He prepares to kill Monk and Natalie Teeger, but Leland Stottlemeyer and Randy Disher arrive in time to arrest him.
