Biography[]
Denny Jardeen, noted by Stottlemeyer to have been unpopular in the precinct due to his record of police misconduct and corruption, along with an accomplice robbed a bank transporter, carrying millions of dollars worth in bearer bonds. The theft was supposed to go off without a hitch, but Denny impulsively murdered the two guards when they resisted and during the struggle, one knocked loose one of Denny's teeth. Denny, knowing his dental records were in the system, decided to contact a private dentist, Dr. Bloom, who was under contract by the SFPD, asking him to do the procedure under the table. While under anesthesia, he off-handedly revealed everything about the robbery, including where they hid the 10 million dollars they nabbed, but was unaware that of what he said during the visit afterwards. When he either remembered or noticed Bloom and his assistant had unearthed the cache, he confronted them in the presence of a drugged Randy Disher, accusing them of taking the bearer bonds and attacking the dentist. His assistant retaliated, by hitting Denny over the head with a decorative plastic tooth, killing him.
