Cora Little, commonly called "Crazy Cora" is a woman who briefly became Adrian Monk's supposed wife, in the Season 4 episode 11 "Mr. Monk Bumps His Head". She was potrayed by Laurie Metcalf.

Cora, a resident of Purnell, Wyoming, who had no luck in her love life on account of her hinky, irritable and unpleasant personality. She had recently returned from a cruise around Greece's Aegan Sea and was unsuccessfully hitting on the town barber when she saw Monk, rugged and confused, stumble through the streets. Her interest piqued, she covertly followed him as he ate at a diner and went to the sheriff's office, where she overheard him talking about having no idea who he was. Using his amnesia to her advantage, Cora interrupts the sheriff as he goes to call the county officials, claiming that his name was "Jerry Little", her newlywed husband. As she takes "Jerry" home, she lays out their supposed history: Jerry is a roofer who met Cora at the cruise ship's casino, promptly having their vows upon their return. Unfortunately for her, the "marriage" does not turn out the way she imagined, as Monk continues to exhibit his trademark eccentricities and is unable to fulfill Cora's many expectations, including fixing her damaged roof (due to his fear of heights), gaining employment (she disapproves of "Jerry" being recommended for police work by the sheriff) and entering a consummate relationship with her (due to still being in love with Trudy). Instead, Monk starts to return to his old ways and proceeds to solve the murder of Debbie Barnett.

When Monk's friends and colleagues manage to track Monk down, he rediscovers his identity and after realizing that he was not in fact married to Cora, in spite of their toxic relationship, Monk returns to tell her goodbye and holds no hard feelings, unlike Cora, who is thoroughly disappointed at his leaving.
